The Kochi Prefecture is said to have very long sun exposure hours thanks to the good weather it has throughout the year (there was even one year that it was the #1 prefecture to receive most light in Japan.) With all this sunlight over the strawberry fields, they tend to grow perfect both in shape and flavor, being very popular among people.

[Producer Introduction] Nishijima Horticultural Park Inc.
In 1971, eight farmer families in Kochi decided to co-found the Nishijima Horticultural Park, a touristic park three times bigger than the Hanshin Koshien Stadium with a land of near 6 hectares, of which 4 are used exclusively for the fruit farming.
Beautiful tropical flowers and fruits like tomatoes, strawberries, melons, watermelons and mangoes are cultivated in the park. Moreover, fruits like melons and watermelons are grown from plants that can only bear one fruit at the time, concentrating all its nutrients into the fruit and enhancing the flavor to its max. From choosing the fruit to its transportation, we do every step ourselves, so we can assure you not only you will have the most delicious fruit ever, but also the safest and cheapest.
